Sisters qualify for state titles
TERANG College sisters Jackenzie and Summer Sharp have both qualified for the State Swimming Championships.
Jackenzie and Summer Sharp, along with Parker McDougall, represented Terang College at last Friday’s regional finals in Horsham.
The pair performed remarkably well at last Friday’s Greater Western Region finals in Horsham.
Summer, enjoying her first appearance at the regionals, and Jackenzie both won gold in their respective 50m multi-class backstroke and freestyle events.
Parker McDougall also performed well, finishing sixth in both freestyle and backstroke, and fifth in butterfly.
Congratulations to all three swimmers, who often found themselves competing against others who train at least four times a week.
Many thanks to parents who provided transport and support on the day.
