Absalom wins monthly medal

DAVID Absalom has taken out the monthly medal at Cobden Golf Club.

Absalom finished on nett 74 last Saturday to win the medal and A grade.

D. Bath was the runner-up in A grade on nett 76.

Twenty-four players contested the medal (stroke) and putting competitions at the course last Saturday.

B grade was won by B. Bourke on nett 75 followed by S. Mason nett 77.

Nearest the pins: 4th S. Dawson, 7th N. Simmonds, 10th S. Maxon, closest second on the 2nd J. Rix and closest on the 14th S. Rix.

C. Sargeant won the putting with 29 putts.

Balls down the line went to C. Sargeant, S. Dawson, R. Barlow, C. Dobson and G. Byrne.

This Saturday will be privilege pot (stableford).
