Absalom wins stroke

THIRTY-two players contested the monthly medal (stroke) and putting competition at the Cobden Golf Club last weekend.

The A grade winner was D. Absalom on nett 76 followed by L. Finney on nett 77.

B grade went to B. Welsby on nett 67, with B. Henderson the runner-up on nett 69.

Balls down the line: S. Mason, P. Tickener, K. Duffin, L. Green and R. Barlow.

Nearest the pins: 4th C. Sargeant, 7th L. Robertson, 10th L. Finney, closest second on the 2nd M. Katsaros and closest on the 14th C. Sargeant.

The monthly medal was won by B. Welsby on nett 67 while T. Rantall won the putting with 31 putts.

This Saturday will be privilege pot (stableford) including round one of the Barrett Shield.
