Round four last Saturday saw the Knights travel to Woorndoo to take on the Tigers.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, the visitors posted a handy 5/305 after 50 overs.

Captain Johno Benallack put on a great display with the bat, positing 90 runs from 71 deliveries before being caught out.

His innings included six boundaries and three sixes.

He was well supported by vice-captain Matthew Kemp who reached 86 off 108 balls, which included eight boundaries.

Opener Matthew Boyle contributed a handy 45 runs while Matt Clarke was unbeaten on 29 and Edmund Walsh 21 not out.

Chasing a big total, Woorndoo fell short, reaching just 10/83 in the 32nd over thanks to some accurate work in the field by the Knights.

Matthew Harkin was the best of the Cobden bowlers, finishing the day with figures of 4/15 from eight overs while Matt Clarke took 2/20 from six.

Other wickets went to Parker Walsh 1/19, Darcy Meade 1/14 and Jonty Robertson 1/14.

This weekend will see the Knights take on Ecklin at the Ecklin Recreation Reserve.
