Car rolls on Foxhow Rd

A WOMAN has escaped serious injury following a crash in Foxhow last Sunday, which saw her car roll.

Corangamite Senior Sergeant Bill Caldow said police were called to the incident at around 12.20pm on Sunday, June 22

“A vehicle driven by a Ballarat woman was travelling west along Camperdown-Foxhow Road in the Leslie Manor area,” he said.

“The driver, on a sweeping bend in the road, veered off the shoulder of the road, hit a pothole and lost control of the vehicle.

“The vehicle ran off the road, collided with road signs and then rolled onto its roof. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was able to get out of that vehicle herself.

“She wasn’t seriously injured but was obviously shaken from the incident.

“No charges will be laid as a result of the matter. The car was damaged, and she wasn’t taken to hospital.”

Police were also joined by Country Fire Authority (CFA) units, State Emergency Services (SES) units and Ambulance Victoria.
