Caution urged following crash in fog
A HEAVY fog on Monday morning has prompted calls from Camperdown Police for drivers to take care when visibility is poor following a crash.

Police, Country Fire Authority (CFA), Ambulance Victoria and State Emergency Services (SES) units were called to the intersection at Camperdown-Lismore Road and Foxhow Road in Kariah at around 10.15am on Monday, May 11.
Camperdown Acting Senior Sergeant Craig Merry said a black Holden Commodore travelling along the Camperdown-Lismore Road entered the intersection without giving way or stopping.
The vehicle collided with a four-wheel drive, going through road signage before stopping in a paddock.
“There were no major injuries from that collision,” Act Snr Sgt Merry said.

“The main contributing factor was the weather, being the fog.
“It’s a reminder for drivers to drive to the road conditions.
“When there’s fog early in the morning, make sure headlights are on and slow down.
“Take the time to travel – the fog will get worse in the coming months. There’s no rush.”
