Cobbledick, Bath win Red Tee Day
CLIFF Cobbledick and David Bath took out the annual Cobden Golf Club Red Tee Day multiplication pairs competition on Saturday.

Bath and Cobbledick shot a combined 67 points to beat runners-up M. Loving and I. Rochfort on 61 points.
Cobbledick was also the individual winner on the day, winning with 37 points on a count back from Carl Horan.
Balls down the line went to Reed/Elsum (59 points), Lucas/Dawson (58), Horan/Twynstra (57) and Walker/J. Rix (54).
Nearest the pins were recorded by A. Holster (fourth and 10th holes), J. Lucas (seventh hole) and G. Rix (closest second on the 14th).
Next week golfers will vie for the monthly medal and the putting competition.
Last Wednesday Marie Smith and Pat Tickner won the inaugural Davis/Alexander foursomes sponsored by Laurel Davis and Rhonda Alexander.
Smith and Tickner won the day with 104 (31) 73 nett score ahead of Netty Hose and Elaine Telford with 115 (29) nett 86, while Sherine Healey and Thelma Green came in third with 104 (18) nett 86.
Sandra Mason won the stableford event for ladies not playing in the foursomes competition with 30 points on a count back from runner-up Jo Hintum.
Nearest the pins were Ellen Darcy (fourth hole), Hose/Telford (seventh hole) and Healey/Green (10th hole).
