College celebrates Education Week
STUDENTS at Camperdown College celebrated Education Week last week, participating in a variety of activities to show pride in their school.
Junior campus assistant principal Jacinta Tolland said students enjoyed the opportunity to embrace this year’s theme of Showcase Your School.
“Across the week, students shared their talents through an entertaining series of talent shows featuring dance, singing, comedy, tricks and experiments,” she said.
“Our open mornings welcomed current families on Monday and prospective Prep students and families on Wednesday, who all experienced the warmth, learning and culture of our school.
“Students also visited our senior campus to celebrate one of the unique strengths of being a P-12 school, and each day classes explored and celebrated the people, opportunities, learning experiences and connections that make our school such a special place to belong.”
Students also participated in Walk Safely to School Day, which encourages students to walk or ride to school to promote road safety, health and the environment.
