Dennis Walter pays a visit to Cobdenhealth
COBDENHEALTH residents had a special treat on Friday when renowned singer Dennis Walter dropped in.
Lifestyle co-ordinator Sue Loving said residents were excited with the icons visit.
“With the help of James McLeod we got Dennis to come visit our residents,” she said.
“The excitement of his arrival meant our hairdresser was extra busy, all the ladies had their dair done.
“Our carers assisted with the best outfits being put on and lipstick done for the ladies.
“Our men didn’t miss out either; they all were toe tapping and signing to his songs.”
Ms Loving said Mr Walter spent time meeting and greeting residents after performing a number of songs.
“We are confident that many residents will now have posters on there walls from his visit,” she said.
“It was a wonderful visit and we are so very grateful he was able to come.”
