Foggy conditions for golf
TWENTY-three players braved foggy conditions at the Terang Golf Club last Thursday.
The winner of the women’s stableford and second round of Marion Brophy was Margie Driscoll on 35 points.
The runner-up was Karen Mather on 34 on countback from Wendy O’Connor 34.
Balls down the line went to Wendy O’Connor 34 and Jo Arundell 34.
Nearest the pins: 3rd and 6th Margie Driscoll, 9th from off the green Aileen Clark and 11th Judy Carmody.
The winner of the 18 hole all-day stableford was Ged Justin on 38, followed by Andrew Jemmeson 32 on countback from Mick Hammond and Ross Thomson.
Balls down the line went to Mick Hammond 32 and Ross Thomson 32.
Nearest the pin on the 6th was Andrew Jemmeson.
The winner of the nine hole all-day stableford was Danny Kenna with five points.
This week will be women’s 9.30-10.30am competition, all day 18 and nine hole stableford. All welcome.
