Foggy conditions wreak havoc
EMERGENCY services were called to an accident in foggy conditions in Cobden last Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Grayland Street and Bond Street at about 8.20am.
Timboon Police Leading Senior Constable Don Camilleri said two trucks collided.
“In heavy fog the milk tanker was on Hallyburtons Road and was turning left – he said he waited and couldn’t see anything,” he said.
“The driver in the waste truck has come through and the milk tanker has turned in front of him.
“No injuries were received to either driver.”
Ldg Snr Const Camilleri said investigations were ongoing.
He urged drivers to take more care on the roads and drive to the conditions, which includes using headlights in foggy conditions.
A second incident occurred at Boorcan the same morning on the Princes Highway.
