Glennon wins at Terang
CATE Glennon enjoyed a great round of golf on the Terang course last Thursday to win the club’s weekly competition.
Glennon finished with scores of 86-16-70, while the runner-up was Billy wood with 88-14-74.
Balls down the line went to Lynette Coxon and Margie Driscoll, both on nett 75.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Judy Carmody and 9th off the green Billy Wood.
The winner of the monthly medal and silver spoon was Cate Glennon.
The Terang team of Sharee Scanlon, Marion Venn, Cate Glennon, Margie Driscoll and Jo Arundell defeated Timboon 3-2 in the third round of division one pennant.
Next week they will be play Peterborough at Timboon.
