Got something coming up?
ORGANISERS can promote their event in every home in the shire, and beyond through the upcoming Corangamite Shire Council 2023 calendar.
ORGANISERS can promote their event in every home in the shire, and beyond through the upcoming Corangamite Shire Council 2023 calendar.
Submissions are invited for the Corangamite Shire Council calendar, which will be mailed to all Corangamite Shire households in December and is offered to visitors to the region.
Mayor Ruth Gstrein said this was a great opportunity to put your event in the spotlight.
“Planning a local event for 2024? Don’t miss your chance to promote it far and wide by listing in the 2024 Corangamite calendar,” she said.
“By being part of council’s calendar you could potentially have a presence in just about every home in the shire, and beyond.
“Each year 10,000 calendars are printed, featuring images of the shire and some of the fantastic natural attractions, cultural activities, goods and services it has to offer.
“In 2024 they are again set to be hung prominently in homes and businesses around the district, so they can remind residents of what’s coming up, including your event.”
Cr Gstrein said the calendar lists a variety of important dates.
“It lists the key dates and fantastic things we have to do around the shire throughout the year, including markets, agricultural shows, festivals school holidays and special events,” she said.
“Visitors also pick up copies, and it gets sent as a Christmas gift around the world which really puts Corangamite Shire in the spotlight to a far wider audience.”
