WITh a nett score of 39 on countback, Steve Hubbard won the vets’ day at Mortlake golf course last Wednesday.
Hubbard was closely followed by Richard van Diemen (17) nett 39, with nearest the pins going to Peter West and Glen Byers.
NAGA was Ian Jubb.
Last Friday’s vets’ day was won by Ian Jubb (26) nett 40 from runner-up Merv Hampson (25) 45 on countback.
Nearest the pins went to Merv Hampson, Peter Palmer and Richard Van Diemen.
Van Diemen also took out NAGA.
Last Friday’s nine-hole twilight event was won by Peter West 31-51-30 from runner-up Ian Jubb 15-46-31.
Third place went to Steve Hubbard 11-46-35, with Peter Palmer winning nearest the pin.
Saturday’s stroke monthly medal was won by Dougal Ranken on 20-81-61.
Merv Hampsen was runner-up on 28-96-68, with Bruce Twaddle third 29-98-69 on countback.
Nearest the pins were Rob Smith (3/12) and Hamish Weatherly (9/18).
Balls down the line went to Merv Hampson, Bruce Twaddle and Ed Robinson.
