YOUNGSTERS unleashed their creativity at a Lego session in Cobden last week.

Cobden Rotary Club organised an afternoon of lego to help fill the school holidays.

Club member Gary Kimber said about 80 people turned up for the session which was well above expectations.

“We’re over the moon; we had to put extra lego out,” he said.

“The Anglican Church and South West BRICKS club have been fantastic.”

Mr Kimber said attendees were from across the wider region, including Geelong and Colac.

“We’ve had people come from everywhere,” he said.

“The Cobden Rotary Club holds the session as a community service.

“We’re planning to do another session in the September and summer holidays – they are that popular.”

Mr Kimber thanked the community for supporting the event.
