Lions distribute bin liners

SIMPSON Lions Club members hit the streets recently to help deliver Corangamite Shire bin liners.
Lions members Alf Frith and Lance Swindells walked the streets of Simpson delivering 90 packages to local households.
“To make things easier for our volunteers, Lions partner Denise Frith, drove with a boot full of rolls whilst Alf and Lance dropped the caddy bags on the front step or handed them over personally to residents,” club member Marie Van Den Broek said.
“Work in Lions can be a very social activity. What better way to meet your local community and help our shire keep their programs active.”
