Lucky escape for driver
FAILURE to give way resulted in a vehicle being hit by a truck on Wednesday morning.
Damaged: A driver was lucky to escape injury following a crash on Wednesday.
Camperdown Police, along with Camperdown Country Fire Authority (CFA), Camperdown State Emergency Services (SES) and Ambulance Victoria were called to Manifold Street at around 9.45am on Wednesday, May 27.
Camperdown Police Leading Senior Constable Lachie Barr said the car received damage where the truck had struck the passenger side.

“The driver was checked over at the scene but was not admitted to hospital,” he said.
“The offending driver received a penalty notice in relation to failing to give way.”
