Man caught after daylight robbery at Cobden BP Roadhouse
POLICE have appealed for information about a brazen daylight burglary at the Cobden BP Roadhouse on Monday.

POLICE have appealed for information about a brazen daylight burglary at the Cobden BP Roadhouse on Monday.
At about 8.15am, a man wielding a knife jumped the counter and demanded money from a staff member.
Camperdown police Senior Sergeant Bill Caldow said the man entered the service station wearing a mask, hoodie and holding a large knife.
He said the offender escaped on foot and it was believed he had attended the shop shortly prior to committing the armed robbery.
Snr Sgt Caldow said a man was arrested in Camperdown on Monday and is assisting police with their enquiries.
“He hasn’t been charged in relation to the incident,”he said.
“He was on bail for other matters, he has been held in custody for breach of bail.”
Snr Sgt Caldow appealed for residents with any information about the incident to contact Camperdown Police on 5593 1000 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
“I suspect there will be a lot of talk around Camperdown and Terang in regards to the matter,” he said.
“I appeal to anyone with any information to come forward. People can remain anonymous if they wish.”
