Noah wins junior race
CAMPERDOWN’S junior and senior cycling teams were met with warm, sunny conditions last Thursday night.

Thirteen junior cyclists made it to the start line and pushed their way through the 5.5 kilometre race course circuit.
The junior members are learning the art of riding closely to other riders, taking turns and moving through the course quicker, recording new personal bests.
Noah pushed over the line first with a winning time of 12.52.
He was closely followed by Quinn in second with a time of 10.16.
In third place was Finn in a time of 09.16.
Other times were Zane 09.47, Oliver 09.02 (fastest), Josh 09.03, Nathaniel 10.42, Reiley 12.15, Lawson 12.16, Thea 11.22, Lilly 17.33, Ava 12.03 and Henry 13.20.
The senior riders were also competitive last week, with Oliver Clark coming through with the win, holding off Matt Gstrein and Josh Thompson.
Zane Vogels finished fourth, followed by Finn Baxter.
Matt Clark, Shaun Thompson and Todd Baxter also rode well.
The scratch bunch of Todd and Shaun were unable to catch the groups in front, which joined together by the end for a long sprint for the win.
