Noorat lets loose with water fight
NOORAT Primary School descended in to chaos for a whole school water fight on Monday.
NOORAT Primary School descended in to chaos for a whole school water fight on Monday.
Nowhere was safe as students and staff alike loaded up their super soakers and let loose to celebrate their achievements for the year.
School principal Ilona Watkins said the annual water fight was, as expected, a hit with the students.
“It’s just a bit of fun,” she said.
“We were hoping the weather would be nice and it would be a hot day to have a laugh, but the kids have enjoyed being able to get the teachers.
“I think it’s a really nice, fun way for students to get their payback as we approach the end of the year.”
While the weather was chilly and rainy, students unanimously voted for the occasion to go ahead.
“We held a vote and 100 per cent of kids said they wanted it to go ahead, as long as they knew the teachers were still joining in,” Ms Watkins said.
