HAVE you ever dreamed of running away to join the circus?

Now is your chance to try your hand at a host of circus skills and tricks to challenge and excite.

Camp Cooriemungle will host Spin Circus Festival for the second year, with the festival expected to attract more than 300 people.

Spin Circus Festival features three full days of workshops, shows, skills and community from April 14 to 18.

Spin Circus director Ciara Thorburn said everyone is welcome to book into the festival.

“Whether you are a newbie, intermediate-advanced, practising professional, oldschool, or just a circus groupie, this is where you belong,” she said.

“It’s open to all ages and experience levels."

“Come along and learn to twirl fire or juggle or try your hand at axe throwing.”

Spin Circus Festival follows on from Australian Partner Acrobatics Convention (APAC) which is also being held at Camp Cooriemungle.

Across APAC and Spin Circs Festival there will be more than 200 workshops on offer across 10 different stages.

“There will be a fire show on the final weekend on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16,” Ms Thorburn said.

“This is our second year at Camp Cooriemungle. The festival continues to grow.

“We started off as a group of spinners who wanted to teach each other.”
