Racing at Darlington next weekend
RACE fans get excited. The Mid-Western Speedway at Darlington is preparing for a cracker night of racing next Saturday, May 9.
With cars set to hit the track from 4pm the night’s program is jam-packed full of action.
The Street Stocks will compete for the Hanno Tribute while the Super Rod drivers will all be eager to get their hands on the Col Grist Memorial trophy.
Wingless Sprints are also on the program, as are the Lightning Sprints and Standard Saloons (who will contest the Golden Helmet).
And with nominations still coming in, organisers are confident of strong fields across all classes.
And with Mother’s Day next weekend, this is also an ideal opportunity to purchase some raffle tickets for the chance to go home with some wonderful prizes for mum (or that someone special in your life).
Pit gates open at 12 noon, spectator gate at 2pm.
Racing from 4pm.
