Shalders wins at Mortlake

GARRY Shalders has taken out the stroke monthly medal at Mortlake Golf Club.

Shalders finished last Saturday’s round with a score of 10-80-70 to finish ahead of runner-up Ben Boers 8-81-73 on countback.

Third place went to Hamish Weatherly 3-76-73.

Nearest the pins: 9/18 Slade Palmer and 6/15 Hamish Weatherly.

Balls down the line went to Hamish Weatherly, Slade Palmer, Alistair Clark, Richard van Diemen and Rob Field.

Next week’s event will be stableford.
