Shed fire draws large CFA response
CREWS from across the region battled windy conditions to bring a shed fire under control just outside Mortlake on Monday.

Country Fire Authority (CFA) crews responded to reports of a structure fire at 12.13pm on Reichmans Lane, Mortlake, on Monday afternoon.
A CFA spokesperson said crews from across the region had flocked to the site to bring the shed fire under control.
Thirteen CFA units responded to the blaze.
“Thirteen CFA units responded from multiple local brigades, alongside Powercor,” the spokesperson said.
“Upon arrival, crews found a shed fire.
“Crews declared the scene under control at 12.36pm.”
CFA crews remained on scene for several hours.
CFA quickly brought the fire under control, but remained on scene for an extended period.
