Show secretary Sue Stevens said the show “went really well”.

“There seemed to be a good consistent amount of people all day,” she said.

“Everyone was pleased; there was plenty of things to do and see.

“There was a good range of activities and all of the kid’s activities were well patronaged.”

There was a record number of cows shown on the day, and strong horse entries saw showjumping events running through up until about 7.30pm.

The mystery show bag and ride passes were also well supported, with families making the most of the value for money.

In the homecraft pavilion, displays of cooking skills, photography and sewing wowed those attending.

Mrs Stevens thanked those that supported the annual event, which has become a mainstay on calendars across the district.

“Thank you to the committee and all of the volunteers who helped set up on the day,” she said.

“We are looking forward to next year now.”
