Stevens win A grade
FINISHING on 68 points, Janine Stevens took out the A grade competition for women at Cobden Golf last week.
Seventeen players participated in the monthly medal, putting and stroke competition on Wednesday.
Stevens was followed by Jordan Beard on 69 points.
Winner of the monthly medal and B grade was Pat Tickner on 66 points.
The B grade runner-up was Di McKenzie on 70 while Di Adams won the putting with 32 putts.
Nearest the pins: A grade – 4th and 10th Janine Stevens; B grade – 4th Pat Tickner, 10th Jeannine White; C grade – 4th Netty Hose; gents – 4th Jordon Beard.
Nearest the pin on the Camperdown Pre-Mix 7th hole was Pat Tickner while nearest second shot on the 8th (A grade) was Chloe Healey.
Balls down the line went to Chloe Healey, Di Adams and Elaine Telford.
Last Saturday’s privilege pot attracted 44 players, with S. Rix finishing on 38 points to win A grade from N. Noy on 36.
B. McSween won B grade on 40, followed by S. Mason 36 and G. Davis 36.
C grade was won by H. Rix on 42 points, followed by M. Katsaros on 41.
Nearest the pins: 4th G. Birnie, 7th D. Beard, 10th H. Rix, closest second on the second I. Rochfort and closest on the 14th G. Birnie.
Balls down the line: J. Duynhoven, G. Davis, I. Rochfort, M. Loving, L. Green and D. Absalom.
