Storm rolls in
AN unbeaten half century from middle-order batsman Travis Brown helped steer the Storm to victory last weekend.

Having won the toss and elected to bat first against Camperdown on Saturday, Storm reached a defendable 6/216 after 50 overs.
Brown finished the innings unbeaten on 53 runs from 48 deliveries which included three boundaries and four sixes.
He was well supported by team-mates Hamish Huffadine (39), Ryan OKeefe (32), Henry Stevens (22) and Sam Lenehan (17).
In reply, the Lakers were held to 10/183 in the 44th over.
James O’Neil was the strongest with the bat for the home side, reaching 62 before out lbw to Thomas Hunt, while opener Jye McLaughlin was also effective, contributing 34 from 28 deliveries.
McLaughlin’s stint at the crease included a quick-firing five boundaries and one six.
Best of the bowlers for the Storm was Thomas Hunt with 4/21 from seven overs.
Wickets also fell for Chris Vogels 2/44 Paul Vogels 2/52, Henry Stevens 1/17 and Lachlan McLennan 1/21.
The Storm now sits third on the South West ladder, six points behind second-placed Pomborneit.
Bookaar, with just one loss for the season to date, currently sits on top of the ladder and is looking strong premiership contenders.
