Strong round from O'Connor

STEPHEN O’Connor finished on 43 points to take out last Saturday’s stableford round at the Terang Golf Club.

Thirty players enjoyed the day’s competition, with Terry Beasley the runner-up on 40.

Down the line: Cate Campbell (17) 37, Geoff Campbell (30) 37, Steven Clifford (12) 37, Marion Venn (13) 35 and Daryl Johnstone (23) 35.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Mark Couzens, 6th Michael Heffernan, 8th Martin Wynd and 11th Scott Coverdale.

Last Sunday’s stableford saw Ged Justin (23) 34 the winner of the 18-holes on countback from Josh Brown (+1) 34.

Eagles went to Josh Brown on the fourth and 10th.

This Saturday will be June stroke monthly medal and putting (all day) and there will be stableford nine or 18 holes from 10.30am onwards Sunday.
