Students qualify for regional athletics

SIX Camperdown College students have qualified to compete in the regional athletics carnival.

The college was represented by 10 junior campus students at the division athletics carnival last Friday, May 1.

All students gave their very best in each event entered, achieving some excellent results.

Callen McLachlan finished first in both long jump and triple jump, and third in high jump.

Wrench Baulch finished second in discus and third in shotput.

Natalie Corrigan placed second and Lily Finlayson sixth in the 1500m event.

Georgie Harrison was third in the long jump while George Wilkinson won the 200m MC, shot put MC and placed second in the 100m MC.

The regional athletics carnival will be held later in the year.
