Sully’s Bistro now open
COBDEN Golf Club’s bistro has a new owner and a new name.

COBDEN Golf Club’s bistro has a new owner and anew name.
Sully’s Bistro is now open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday under the management of Paul Sullivan.
After running a number of pubs for almost 30 years, he has returned “home” to the western district and is now keen to welcome patrons to his latest business venture.
“I’m originally from Cobden but have spent almost three decades owning and operating pubs in Bendigo, Geelong and Apollo Bay,” Mr Sullivan said.
“My mum lives in Cobden so it’s nice to be home once again and I’m looking forward to welcoming diners to Sully’s and getting to know the locals.”
Head chef Scott Harris brings many years’ experience to the kitchen and believes the menu offers something for everyone – with the traditional favourites such as parmas, burgers and steaks complemented by some tasty seafood dishes and entrees.
“We want to develop a reputation for being a family-friendly bistro,” Mr Sullivan said.
He said young visitors are welcome, with a games room set up to keep children well entertained, and menu options to tempt even the fussiest of eaters.
“I love the country atmosphere here and I’m keen to introduce regular live entertainment, such as tribute bands, as well as wine dinners,” Mr Sullivan said.
“We will be open Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Sundayfor meals.”
Adhering to COVID guidelines, Sully’s has the capacity to seat 80 people indoors and a further 70 people outdoors – taking in the views over the manicured greens.
