SWH helping those in need

IN the article ‘Lions, SWH helping those in need’ (Friday, November 29), the article published in the Camperdown Chronicle said volunteers from the Rotary Club of Camperdown were involved with what was previously known as Camperdown and District Foodbank (now Corangamite Foodbank).

This was incorrect. The Rotary Club was not involved.

The article also said the Corangamite Food Bank was led by South West Healthcare.

This was incorrect. The Corangamite Food Bank is an initiative run by the Camperdown and District Community House.

In addition, the article did not mention South West Healthcare was just one partner with the initiative, collecting hampers to distribute to those in need.

There are a number of distribution points and partners for the Corangamite Food Bank across the Corangamite Shire, including in Camperdown, Timboon, Simpson, Terang and Cobden.
