Teamwork on show
CORANGAMITE Hockey’s under 18 side continues to build on teamwork and more direct passes.
Friday night’s final score didn’t reflect the team’s persistence – Mariners finished with a 5-1 win with Corangamite’s only goal scored by Jonah.
Coach Sharyn made some changes to positions and it was great to see everyone work together and adjust.
This week’s You Rock award went to Jonah.
In the under 15 competition, although Corangamite came up short in a 3-5 loss to the Mariners, the team showed incredible spirit and teamwork.
From the first whistle to the final one, everyone gave their all and it showed.
A special mention to Tavish who won this week’s You Rock award for his outstanding work if defence – solid positioning, smart plays and a relentless effort
Two brilliant games were played at Mockridge Park on Saturday.
Green was defeated by Yellow 4-0 while Light Blue defeated Dark Blue 3-0.
Neither of these final scores reflect the fantastic skills and team play that has developed over the season.
Well done to all players, they have each shown great development this season.
