Timboon road works to be completed after winter
CONTRACTORS will be returning later this year to complete works on the Timboon-Nullawarre Road.

Department of Transport acting regional director (Barwon South West) Jozef Vass said the significant safety upgrades to Timboon-Nullawarre Rd, near Timboon, are expected to be completed before end of the year.
“During the colder winter months, conditions are usually not suitable to complete maintenance work – except in emergency circumstances,” he said.
“We will be returning to begin the final resealing work including repairing potholes along Timboon-Nullawarre Rd in September, that will complete the project."
The works include landslip prevention, safety barriers being installed and nearly 2.5km of the road resurfaced.
The improvements along the road is thanks to the Australian and Victorian government’s joint Road Safety Program.
