Wareham wins

JORDAN Wareham showed good form on the Mortlake golf course last Saturday to win the stableford event.

Twenty-six players competed in the event and there were many highlights during the weekend.

Wareham (19) finished on 32 points, ahead of runner-up Glen Birnie (13) 31 points on countback.

Nearest the pins on the 9th and 18th was Steve Hubbard.

Balls down the line went to Steve Hubbard, Ian Jubb and Aaron Davies.

New member was Glen Birnie.

Next week’s event will be a three-person ambrose.
