Now in its 34th year, the event will start tomorrow (Saturday) at the Cobden course and will continue through until next Sunday, February 23.
This year’s event boasts an impressive prize pool of over $200,000 and entries remain open until the day before each event.
“We still have spots available for players to enter our events,” Cobden Golf Club’s Trevor Gardner said.
“The course is in good condition considered the extended dry spell.
“We are once again proud to show our club and golf course to members and visitors who always have a great time at this event.”
Among the prizes up for grabs are the ‘4th hole super hole’ hole-in-one prizes include a Kia EV5 electric car from Clinton Baulch Motor Group or a Yamaha golf cart from Golf City Ballarat.
The Cobden Plate and Cobden Cup winning teams will receive a $600 voucher to the 13th Beach Golf Course and there will be daily trophies and prizes, along with nearest the pin and straightest drive winners.
Each day players will receive a light meal supplied by Bistro on Neylon at the club.
Daily team competitions will be contested, culminating in a prestigious 28-hole open event on Saturday, February 22.
