Win to Noonan and O’Flaherty

TIMBOON Golf Club members contested a four-ball, best ball stableford last Saturday.

Cody Noonan (12) and Cameron O’Flaherty (32) 45 points won the event, followed by runners-up Rhys Ziegelaar (24) and Jack Rowe (8) on 44 points.

They were followed by Bryan Ward (22) and Gary Castledine (14) 43 points, with Todd Brunt (16) and Geoff Norton (9) in fourth place on 42 points.

Nearest the pins: 5th Chris Huffadine, 7th Geoff Norton, 10th Steve Plozza, 14th Mick Plozza, 11th (second shot, 0-17) Chris Harkness and 13th (second shot, 18+) Nigel Harding.

Thursday’s chicken day was won by Bill Finlayson from Franny Togni.

Nearest the pin was Steve Plozza.

This Saturday will be stableford.
